Default Manual Valve Body?

Whats the difference in manually shifting your auto with and WITOUT the manual valve body? I was just curious, and is it guareenteed to mess ur trans by manually shifting an auto? I just think it feels a LOT snappier.

If you manually shift your auto now, it will still not shift until the PCM setpoint, unless you are above it. A manual valve body allows you to hold all gears until you shift. Some newer cars have fail safes in to I think, it will shift even if the lever is in 1st. A manual valve body will shift faster, cleaner, and more consistant than if you just manually shift a regular valve body.

the only problem with a manual valvebody is it is COMPLETELY manual, not necessarly the best thing for the street unless you want to downshift and upshift everytime, and its not really bad for your auto to upshift manualy but dont slow the car down by downshifting
