Question When bolting the 4l60e up....

Do I threadlock the bellhousing bolts? Are they supposed to have any type of washers or do you just do a direct bolt up? Thanks guys!!

I didn't thread lock mine.
Just put em back in the way they came out.

Have fun with that reinstall too, especially that 12 O-clock bolt.
Hope you have extensions, you'll need em.

My engine is out of the car so the install will be very easy

Def. wouldn't use thread lock on bell housing bolts. They are hard enough to loosen with the tight space we have to work with. They won't back out of aluminum.

The 12 clock bolt is easy to get to if you have the intake manifold off you can do it from the top. At least thats what i did when i did a motor and trans install

The 12 o clock bolt was really easy for me because I didnt put it back in haha. Btw I didnt use any type of thread locker on them.
