Unhappy Need Help Bad

Just installed my 4L60E after the heavy duty rebuild kit and Vig. 3600 stall, and MS4 cam package, the motor runs fun but the tranny will no longer engage into any gear. It ran fine for about a mile then when i went to accelerate out of the gas station it pulled out and then seemed like it went into neutral. after that it will no longer go into any gear. We drained and removed the pan and found no broken pieces and the fluid was fine, the rear end as well. There was absolutely no sign of a hard fail. Any suggestions plz guys i am at a loss. Any help would be Great

Most likley you have a broken pump this many times will not leave any debris in the pan . A simple test if there was fluild in the car is to start it with the lines unhooked and see if fluild flows. But honestly with the fluid already out I would just pull and inspect the pump . Anyway you look at it with a no movment your going to have to pull the trans.

Ok where is the pump located in the trans, and how hard is it to swap out. There is fluid back in the tranny now so i can do that test to see. Also where would i find a replacement?

Damn, seems every converter sold should automatically come with a spare pump.
Is there any way to emphasize how important it is to do simple checks to be sure the converter is in the pump properly. It's hard to believe how many times this comes up.

And the shame of it is there is sooooo much help here on the boards. All too often the complaint comes up after the job instead of the questions before the job.

We have repaired a few units that had just received a converter in the last few months. Hate to see it.

Well this damage happened as a result of a LT1/LT4 converter being sent by PCI. It mounted to the tranny fine but as you guy know it didnt line up on the fly wheel.the damage that this caused made the pump fail so it will be replaced at no cost.
