Default TransGo 4L60E-S and HD-3 MVB ?'s

First - besides the video, is there any difference between the two kits? (if so what?)

Second - do the kits allow full engine braking instead of freewheeling when coasting? This is important because I live near mountains....

Thanks,

Brad

All manual valve body kits from TransGo have engine braking. What is it you want to do here exactly?

I have an '83 280ZX Turbo that my friend and I have developed an adaptor kit for.

I intend to use a 4L60e that I picked up for a song (stock rebuild), with a 9.5" converter with appropriate stall speed to utilize in the car.

The engine is built to develop ~400 lb/ft of torque at 3600 rpm and ~375 HP.

The car will be a daily driver (converting from manual - bad left hip and ankle from an accident) so don't mind shifting per se, just having to work a clutch that can handle the power.

What year is the transmission you plan to install? Are you using a computer to operate the transmission?
