i'm thinking of going with a 3000 or 3500 tci converter, even though when i called the tech dept. the guy wasn't very nice.i guess he dosen't read this web site because he recommened a 2500 stall or maybe he was being safe for my application.

i think it really depends on how well they know the ls1 cars specifically. i tell any old skool motorhead i'm putting a 4000 stall car they are always "yea hope you dont plan on driving that on the street ... you won't like it" ... but everyone i talk to on the board says 3500+ ... well the majority...

just do it, or find someone with a similar stalled car and have him take you for a ride.

man to hell with TCI! try any other manufactuer! I personally have the Yank4200 and DD it but it is a little much if your not into blastin' some *** all the time I would suggest a 3200-3600 stall and will be massive in acceleration but still very liveable for DD but vigalante and Yank are the best and most expensive and the Fuddle is alot cheaper and alot of people swear by them but none of my buddys did and I was sort of sold on the Yank by them!
