Final word on transmission mounts
I have yet to see anything really definitive on these speed related vibrations with transmission mounts. This pulsing vibration is due to the driveline angle being thrown off by a mount that is too tall/short.
After breaking my stock mount, I went with a Prothane. Ever since, I have had a pulsing vibration from 90+ that gets worse as speed goes up.
Just recently switched to the ES mount, and it's perfect to at least 110. I did not use the preload plate, and I did shave off the bumps on the top of the mount.
This is the way to go, IMO. ES claims they don't actually make a mount for us if you call them, but this works like a charm.
