What Stall?
I have an 02 ss and will be installing an ms4 cam in it next week. The car is not my dd but I enjoy driving it on the street as much as I can. I haven't even been to the track with it yet but definately will be going at least a few times a year in the future. I currently have a tci 3200 stall but am looking to upgrade the stall to compensate for the large cam. I have done some research and have pretty much narrowed my choice to a vigilante or yank converter.
I am thinking I should go with a Yank 3600.
Any suggestions or input would definately be appreciated! If anyone has expereince with this cam and a stall, please chime in...

i think your range should be more towards 4k-4,400 espically if its not your dd. I currently drive a 4k stall daily with no problems, kinda loose since its a low str but i dont mind. Oh the shift extention will be better with a higer stall.

I drove one with an MS4/SS4000 and it was a really nice match up... I dont personally care for that cam but I think you are going to need a 4K or bigger converter. if you go with a high STR on your converter, go with a bigger stall rating IMO...

Yeah, from experience....MS3 cam in my car with a Fuddle 4000 2.5STR,... also not my DD but i do love drivin it on the street and can at anytime. Dont regret things after gettin a 3600 and say ya should've went bigger, get a 4000. Im more than likely going to downgrade my stall to about a 3200 to compensate for a big hit of the junk sometime over the winter so i dont blow through my current converter. I'd be interested in buyin yours if it wasn't a TCI, i want a multi-disk Vig

I should ask you if you expect to do any more mods in the future but I won't.
How about 50% of the engine red line since it's driven on the street. Since someday you'll be selling it. Since if you keep your mouth shut and don't tell the bro's you hang with what you did. You'll be able to just say you know how to drive your car.

Stall-Torque-Ratio,...its what gives the Torque converter the initial ''hit'' so to speak from my understanding. Theres also another mathematical equation for determining the initial force of torque when its flashed by multiplying the STR by the Torque your car puts down or somethin of the such I believe
