well last night my speedo stopped working for acouple minutes and now it works but it just goes up very slow till around 50 and then when i slow down it takes along time to go to zero... i took it to a my mechanic today and he hooked my car up to a computer and drove it.. i thought it might of had something to do with my new tranny i just put in but he told me everything was fine on the computer and that i probably need to get my head unit or whatever speedo is connected to rebuilt... do you think hes right thanks guys

Well the trans itself could have no effct on the speedo but the installation could check all your wires and grounds
