Default tail shaft housing?

do you have to take the trans out to change it or just take the 6 bolts around it off????? help please!

I didn't have to take mine out (tranny) to replace my tailshaft housing. Just take off the bolts.

No you do not need to remove the transmission in order to remove the tailhousing.

Call me tomorrow a.m. if you still need the replacement.

You don't need to remove the tranny. What's wrong with yours?
