Unhappy Trany Slipping!!!

Quick question. My tran. is slipping and its only on wot, i checked the trans fluid and it looked nothing like trans fluid it had a brownish look. So i wanted to change the fluid and i went to a couple shops and they said they dont recommend it that by changing it i might just mess it up completely. So right now i im clueless. Any suggestions and opinions? Thanks.

Looks like it is time for a new one. And yes a service will probably kill it. Feel free to give us a call if you are looking to purchase a new rebuilt unit. We currently are running a sale and now is the time to take advantage of it. Vince

WHat ever material its life is clinging to will only be lost with a drain of the oil so leave it till it dont run or u can get a new tranny.

I would plan to buy a trans, Its possible changing the filter might get you a little further or kill it off. But if you need it to drive i would just not do WOT and order a trans feel free to look at what we have to offer also.

Sorry I know it sucks Transmisions are just not nearly so fun as a cam or heads but get a good stall with it and it will actually feel better than either.

Sory to see your unit go down, or going down. If you take it easy for the time being you can buy yourself some time to plan for the replacement if you have not done so already.

Give us a call if you would like to explore some options!

Good Luck with it.
