Default Will an LT1 verter work in an LS1 tranny??

I have a '96 LT1 automatic (Firebird). I bought an after market converter several years ago for my stock 4L60E. Since then I've out grown it and a buddy with an LS1 ('00 Camaro SS) wants to buy it. Can we swap this aftermarket verter into his tranny? I noticed the bellhousing is completing different on the two trannys...(full circle bellhousing on the LS1 vs. 3/4 circle bellhousing on the LT1). Is the input shaft spline different or the bolt hole pattern on the fly wheel different??? I'm thinking it won't work, but does anyone know???

Appreciate the feedback....

LS1 and LT1 converters are different two ways.

The pilot that inserts into the crankshaft is longer on an LS and the input shafts are different.

The short answer is, no they are not interchangeable. Hate to be the bad guy... but it is what it is.
