Default trans cooler

getting a fuddle 3400 installed this week.i'm told by a reputable trans shop ,been i buisiness 40 yrs. and does alot of racing installations that to just run the cooler in the radiator.he said the converters made today do not get as hot as the ones years ago.also he said he has installed converters in cars running 600 rwh running the stock cooler.just would like thoughts on this thanks

I'd install a cooler, not expensive. I've had a B&M 24K on mine for years.

I would also install a cooler,without one your tranny will not last that long

It's cheap insurance; why scrimp on a $50 part for a $1k+ transmission and converter?

Put the cooler on. If you put on with a fan all the better.
