My car is cam only and my sig says it all.. what stall you guys runnin and gears your running on a 26" tire... let me know. Im up for a change and have no idea on the direction

I would go with 3.90's on a 26" tire and I would get a Yank PT4400 if you are not planning on spraying.

I would recommend a new set of cylinder heads or a little cheater shot to make that converter go to work for you. But that's on the power side.

If you are looking to make it more durable, step up to a well built transmission prior to a failure.

I think you have a nice foundation of bolts os and now it's time to get serious!

The only knock I have ever seen on the TCI verters is the lockup clutch. If you are going to spray, definetly stay with the verter you have or the equivalant stall speed.

i'd go yank or vigilante with that set up.

stall speeds no less than 3800 i'd say. optimal would be in the 4000-4500 range.

3.73-4.10's w/ a 26" tire would be good.
