The 3600 should be fine.....drivability is all in the tune. I DD a Yank PT4400 with a TR230 and I love it. Granted it is pretty loose, but I'm getting a 9" with 3.90's very soon. That should tighten things up nicely. You'll want at least a 3600 to take advantage of the power that cam will make. If you're in the market for a new stall, I'd recommend a PT series from Yank. With your 3.73's, it would still be decent for daily driving and the PT series converter pulls like mad at any speed. I had a SS4000 before and this converter takes the cake hands down in all aspects.

so i should be fine with the 3600 stall with an ms3 cam and and not loose any drivability?
There isnt a stall that is smaller like 2200 or something that will work so i dont have to get so high in the rpms before it locks
