Default T400 driveshaft work on 4L80E

I'm swapping from a T400 to a 4L80E and I'm curious if the driveshaft will work or if I'll need a differant one.

I believe the drive shaft will have to shortened. The 4l80 is a much longer trans. The yoke might have to changed depending on the combo's you are working with here as well. Good luck with the swap. Vince

If you have a short th400 with a 32 spline yoke you'll need a longer driveshaft but can reuse the yoke.
If you have a long th400 with a 27 spline yoke you will need to shorten the driveshaft and get a different yoke.

Short th400's all come with 32 spline. Long ones come with 27 splines. There are some long tail th400's with 32 spline outputs but they are quite rare.
