Default 4l60e help.......

ok im new to the ls1 stuff.. a friend of mine turned me to this post.. i have a tranny problem... can someone help me.. last week i noticed a bit of a slip between 1 and 2 half throttle fine, full throttle bumps the limiter, someone told me timing issue so i was not to worried.. well last i figured defenitly a tranny problem when i discovered it will not pull at all in 2 .. i got 1 ... all rev in 2... 3rd slipps in and out while half throttle and four well im never to hard in 4 seems to cruise and pull when im on the free way... is it time for a new tranny???? or can someone here help a bit with what the problem is,, thanks.

u need to get it rebuilt or buy a new/used 1 sounds like your clutch's are going out

It sounds like your transmission has an internal failure. The symptoms point towards a broken 1/2 accumulator and possibly worn 3/4 clutches.

Click on the two links in my signature below for information on our current sales. I would be happy to discuss your issues should you call. There is always the outside chance that your transmission does not need to be reconditioned, but it does not sound good.
