How do you connect that big grey plug from the wiring harness to the trans ontop of the pan?

Well it is pretty simple actually. There is no trick.

Just like any other electrical connector it has locators and locks. Rotate it while gently pressing it down. Nothing to it!

Make sure there is not any debris in the trans connector, it ccould cause a real problem.

When in the corect position it should just snap right on , You will know its all th way on because it wont pull back off.
