Which Converter for me
In the near future I will be doing a 408 set up with the Texas giant cam 248/254, .611"/.613 113 LSA FAST 90/90 and spray. Which converter will help me get the most out of that set up.

Good question.... I'll go out on a limb and say that engine ought to be good for something around 550 at the crank. That's alot of cam too, nitrous grind? What does the torque curve look like? I am not familiar with it's manners. With that lift I would say it needs to breathe... so the power probably comes in around 4k rpm. Set me straight on this if needed.
So we need to target a converter for the torque curve of the engine but we also need to consider the gear and tire size, along with any power adder and intended use of the vehicle.
Fill in some of the blanks and we'll be closer to a recomendation.

Thanks for getting back.
With that combo I would recommend something a little tight. 3,600 rpm. It should have the fins locked down by tigging them in place once the stall is set. Also, because of the torque and the spray I would suggest you hasve a balloon plate installed as well.
I could provide the Converter you are looking for. I would run you appx. $750.00 plus shipping. If you are interested give me a call Monday.
