Default 4l60e question

i have a 99 trans am with about 82 000 miles on it. i put over 100 passes on it this summer/spring and i think its time to do a tranny check up. my question is, what can be done to beef up/make the tranny stronger so it will last without worry? im all stock for now but am going to add a converter with the tranny rebuild. thanks
