Default Uhh, my 3rd gear ran away

I just built a new motor, and put in a 3500ish stall(seems to stall at 4k) And It was awesome. Been driving alot, I just hit 300 miles..and no more 3rd? It goes into 3rd, but the revs fly up. It feels like the clutches are slipping...I rev, but barely move....1st-2nd seem perfect, can't get 4th.

Your 3-4 clutch has failed You will need to rebuild or replace the transmission .

How much would it cost to get a Th350 into my car =] Actually...what would these cost.

TH350 with RMVB, Tbrake, and stall.
4L60e or 4l80e with RMVB Tbrake.

Or anything else you recommend....I am a LS1 block, heads/cam/forged, spraying a minimum of a 200 shot, max of 350. So I will be seeing around 750.

You can find the prices for the 4l60e and 4l80e on our site now I suggest the 4l60e level 3 min or the 4l80e but thats and exspensive swap. I do not suggest the th350 or 400 if you like actually driving the car you will miss the overdrive , Plus you would as with the th400 and 80e need yet another converter and I am assuming the one you have is new at 300 miles.

Is this anything I could have caused? Tranny has 120,000 on it...no rebuilds...it would have gone without the added power/stall, right?

Well I sure the milage didnt help and he power probably sped up the demise for sure but I dont think you specifically caused it . Its just part of building up a car,
