Which Converter?
This will be on a h/c/n20 car with a 200 shot. The car currently has a TCI 3500 stall but after some high trans temps and help info from the forum the stall may be breaking down. It has over 100k miles on it fwiw.
I think I want to got to a 4000 stall but kind of wanted to know what other people are running with similar setups.
I was just quickly glancing over the Yank site and their tc selector recommended a PT4000 but after searching on here alot of folks say it's not recommended for a big shot of N20.

Call Yank and have them build you a custom converter to match your mods. They can build anything in between the normal ones on their website. I've seen SS3800's, SS4200's, PT4200's....you get my point. A 200 shot might change their recommendation. They'll take good care of you and set you up right.

I'm getting a bunch of different answers and now I'm not sure what the heck to do. I've gone thru the Yank site and their selector chose a PT4000. I emailed them and was then told a SS3600 or SS4000 if the 200 shot is set up on two stages which it is. I then emailed another company about their converters and they suggested a 3600 stall. Finally, today I called one last local company and they recommended a tighter stall for the spray something like a 3200.
Who is right and what size stall should I go with? I haven't been to the track but twice most of my runs have been from rolls, down south on the Mexican highways. Is the bigger or lower stall going to benefit me?
