Default 4l60-e

Well i sold my t56 and went to an auto.I am buying the swap from a member here on ls1tech.The trans is a RPM stage 5 trans.I have this or am getting it:

4l60e
stockFlex plate
A4 cross member
Trans dipstick tube
Trans lines for cooler
Trans cooler
A4 pedals
A4 shifter
A4 shifter cable
A4 center console
A4 wiring harness

I have a few questions before i start to do the swap.Is the stock flex plate safe or what is its limits. Is there any special reason to go to an sfi approved. Is his 98 a4 harness different then what my 2000 would have for an a4.

Converter: I am going to need a converter for this.I am looking at a yank ss4000e for my setup plus spray.I am going to be spraying a 150-175 since its only the stock bottom end right know.In the future i would like to go into forged internals and more spray. Will this converter be good for now? Is it going to be a slouch on motor, unlike a pt4000 or pt4400 that are looser.

Is there anything else i will need. Post up your comments and suggestions. Thanks for the help.

the strongest stock flexplates were the 98s. ive read that when you are running lots of spray you should go with a lower stall, like a 3200 to 3600.

The 98 CPU is different from your 2000.

I am going to send my 2000 cpu to get flashed, but are all the plugs in the same location on the computer.Like is # 25 wire on the 98 harness into the computer the same as the 2000 harness #25.
