Default what trans does this have

ok i am trying to sell my stall converter but i want to make sure it will fit into this guys application he has a 2006 5.3 single cab truck i think its a 4l60e or is it a 4l80E

On a 2006 it says either 4L80E or 4L60E on the passenger side of the case.
Or the 60e has a more square pan, the 80E is not square. The 60 has the wire harness plug on the top pass side, 80 wire harness come out the side on the drivers side.
There are also RPO codes in the glove box M30 for the 4L60E, MT1 for the 4L80E.

I believe that he has a 4l60e. Have him look at his RPO codes and see if it says M30, M32, or M70. Those would all work with the converter. Vince
