Default 97 4L60e to a 94 4L60e

Well I have found out that the 97 tranny in the camaro I bought will never work properly and I have to get a 94 year model.

My question is, is there a way to make the 97 into a 94 year model and if not where is going to be the best place to get a hold of a 94 year model tranny?

Thanks!

The 97 will work only if you convert to a 94 pump and valve body. The sponsors on this board can hook you up with a "ready to go" unit which would be a much eaiser way to go.

Along with with what Mec said, the internal harness, solenoids and separator plate would have to be changed as well. If you are looking to have a unit built for you or have this one converted let us know. Vince
