Yank Shift Extension and Gear Size
I am looking into a Yank SS3600, 3800 or PT4000
I can't talk to anyone at yank because they are out of the office till the new year and the sale ends on JAN 1!
Say your shift extension was around 4800 with stock 3:23's
what would your shift extension be if you changed to 3:73's
Will the taller gear make your SE go up or down?
Thanks

I have an SS3800 and my shifts don't go below 5300 and usually stay within a couple hundred of that. I have 3.23s. I've been told it may well be a 4000 since, at the time, they weren't really advertising 3800s. I don't know if it's true, but I don't mind. I'll probably go up to a 4400 in the future.

Shift extension will depend on shift point if your spinnig the engine to 7000 before you shift it will have a different extension then a car shifted at 6300
For Reference my 430RWHP 370 cube with my old Yank SS3600 Shifted at 6500 would fall to approx 5300-5400
Same engine with the current SS4000 Shifted at 6500 will fall to 5700RPM
3.73 gears and 3850lbs.
