That is correct on the core deposit and the shipping. The level 4 unit is built for head and cam cars. We really do not put HP #'s on our transmissions. Normally we would discuss your vehicle and together decide what unit will best suit your needs. The issue that we face is that a 4l60e fits many different vehicles and a HP#'s are different due to the weight and torque of a vehicle. In an F-body I think you are good to about 500-550rwhp with the level 4 if that answers your question.

It depends on how long my list is, that's really all I can tell you. It varies. Currently I am about 2-3 weeks out. Vince

Damn, that is a great deal. No core deposit, no shipping cost, and you get the tailshaft housing and bellhousing unlike other wannabe transmission builders. No wonder you guys are booked all of the time!!!

So I have a quick question, what will I get for my core when I send it back to you? Even though you are not charging a core deposit, I can still receive credit for my core when it is sent back to you, correct? And shipping is paid?

Also, I have been talking with Performabuilt and they use different servos in their transmissions. They use the Sonnax super servos rather than the corvette servo, which seems to be quite advantageous on the 1-2 shift. Why does FLT not use this and is this an option that I could have put into the trans when I order it. Thank you.

The price is exactly what is advertised that is correct. As far as the core return we keep a credit card on file and give you 30 days to return our core and shipping container. If it is not returned or there is a lack of us not being able to contact you, we will charge your card. We have yet to have to do this but it is the only course of action to get our goods returned. We have done this so that your money is not tied up and makes it easier for most to be able to make a purchase. The no core deposit policy is an agreement between FLT and the customer. We pay to ship our core back. There is not a refund to you because we have not taken a deposit. It just makes it easier for all of us. Hope this makes sense.

The sonnax 4th servo is what we use in our level 5 build. It is an upgrade in the level 4 build along with the sonnax second servo. The company mentioned uses the superior 2nd servo not the sonnax 2nd in their build and I have had issues with the superior brand. I have a whole box on the shelf that I'm probably going to scrap. I will not go into detail as to why but I will not use the superior one. Vince
