Both of those brands are very good. You would not be disappointed with either.

I used to have a Vig3200, by far a great street converter. Although Yanks are no slouches either. I plan on using a Yank TP4000 in the future. I would be happy with either of those choices.

Used to run Yanks, but now run a 3 disc Vig. My money and my vote go to Vig.

Always had Yanks and I've loved them all. The SS series from Yank are super nice street converters. They are as tight as any converter you can get but still rock at the track.

I too have read many good things about the SS series from Yank and I will be going with a SS 3600 stall Yank converter when I do mine. The vig owners all seem to love their's too so either one I am sure will do you just fine.

I voted Yank b/c thats what I have. Vig is also a great converter, if thats what I had my vote would have been for them lol. However, I would at least get a 3600

TCI equipment is, basically, an "assembly-line" operation. I'd rather choose a unit that is hand-built to specs. A 90-day warranty on a TCI unit? I dont think so!!

I have a built-to-order Yank with a 3-year warranty on the way.

I've heard recently that TCI has some quality control issues, but mine's been good to me so far. I've had it a year now and racked up 20,000 miles on it. If it goes I'll try the Vig next
