Whats a good size stall
I have a Daily Driver 99' WS6 but I street race the car just about every weekend. I was wondering what would be a good size stall. I was considering a 3,000 or a 3,600 which would be more realisitc. Thanks

Yank or Vig, both are awesome. the vig 3200 actually flashes higher then advertised more like 3600 and Ive heard great things about the yank 3600. Just make sure you have a good set of tires. Good luck Ken

I just installed a Yank ss3600 on my daily driver and have no regrets.
Personally though I would not see myself stepping up to a 4000 stall as I shift at 2000-2200 rpm already and don't want it to be any higher.

as for driveability, my 3200 does great. it feels like stock driving around town and on the highway. you will be very happy with it if you plan on racing your car every once in awhile. now if you are going to be a weekend warrior , I would go with a 3600 or 4000 stall. good luck

Lockup speed depends on the tune and NOT on the converter. regardless I don't think any converter on an F-car stock or aftermarket should be going into lockup at 25mph unless you have some crazy 4.56 gears or tiny 13" rims with 40 series tires on them. 25mph would put the car into lockup at just above idle rpm and will cause drivability problems and probably mess up the lockup clutch. I vote for a vig 3600 or Yank 4000 though.. I love the vig 3600 I have on my car.
