Default 700r4 on ls1...

So i have done research on here and haven't been able to find a for sure answer about adapter plates, torque conv, flexplate!! do you need to the adapter? do you use 700 torque conv or ls1... Please HELP!!

700 torque converter. The rest is just like a th350 or th400 swap. You'll use 5 bolts, spacer on the flexplate for the converter pilot, whatever flexplate it says in the sticky, etc.

I ran a 700R4 in my Nova conversion. I used a stock LS1 flexplate and had Fuddle make me a converter that had a LS1 front on the converter and a 700R backside. No adapters needed! I absolutely loved that Fuddle converter in that car, it worked great!!!! Give them a chance and tell them what you are doing and they will build it just like mine.
