turbo 400 on an lq4
when i picked up my lqr engine, it had a 4l80e used on it (which i dont have) i am going to use a turbo 400 behind it
it had the spacer between the crank and flywheel, and the flat flywheel-is this spacing correct for a 400/converter
i know they make some kits for the other flywheels (4l60e) but thought i could use the 4l80e setup on a 400-thanks

if your 6.0 has the spacer on it,, leave it on,, you can bolt a th350 or th400 right up to that engine with no modifications, the flex plate will even have the large gm bolt pattern for the converter
same setup my s-10 has

you can also get a conveter made for a 400 to ls motor. the front hub on the converter is longer on ls applications.
or you can just get a crank spacer that slips over the converter thats made for the old style motors

you need a ls1 style flexplate and then the spacer goes into the crank and then the converter snout sits in the spacer. I bought mine from summit made by hughes spacer and flexplate (needed a sfi flexplate anyway)
