Default Help Me Build My Own Powerglide

I want to give building my own trans a shot help me with what I need to buy. I am going to find a stock aluminum case powerglide and buy the tci overhaul kit TCI 749000K, and I am also gonna buy a transbrake. I am gonna get the tci video or if anyone knows a better book or video please let me know. Oh yeah this trans is gonna have to handle about 800 rwhp.

Since you are looking at 800 RWHP, I'd recommend looking at getting a dedenbear or ATI case so you don't have to worry about trans shields...

Since you will be looking at close to 900 FWHP (to achieve 800 RWHP), some of the internals are gonna need upgrading

suggest you look at this as an example of the "upgrades" you should consider

It'll be cheaper to buy one.
