I have a XFI software disc at the shop. I'll take a look at it in the a.m. It's been since last Spring since I handled their hardware and software though. I wouldn't be surprised to know that their XFI system does not use a VSS.
What you may have to do is go to an Autometer gauge setup. The factory PCM needs to see a 40 pulse per revolution resolution. The sticky in this forum discusses using a front ABS wheel speed sensor in order to retain VSS and Speedo functions when using the Factory PCM. I do not like that idea at all because it essentially disables the ABS system... and if any car out there needs ABS it is a powerful late model F-Body IMHO.
So, having said that I am currently working on putting a better solution together. I have been in discussion with John Speer at Speertech and have a keen understanding of the hardware and software involved. I need some time to put it together, but I should have it figured out pretty soon.
On yours... feel free to call me in tomorrow or Saturday, I'll be happy to discuss it with you. I don't really know what options you have other than running a different EFI Syatem. I have talked to one of FAST's Engineers in the past and have a good relationship with them. I might givr tham a call to see what they have to say myself after we talk.
