T56 To 4L60E. Have Some Questions.
Okay well first off I have a T56 transmission in my '00 Trans Am. I'm having thoughts about swapping it for an A4 just for track reasons. I was wondering on how much hp a stock 4L60E can handle, and also what is the best size stall that I can use for daily driving but would also work great at the track. I basically just wanna run low 12's. So far I have Mac mid tubes, Mac off road y-pipe, 3" cut out, Flowmaster catback, SLP lid, Auburn differential, NGK plugs, some kinda pro race wires?, and a Fast Toys ram air kit. I really wanna break a low 12 in my car. I plan on having it dynotuned in a couple of weeks, and maybe even a small shot of nitrous!

im not to sure about this but since u were in texas i have a a4 gto i dont know if the trannys for the swap are the same but i know it is 720$ for shop labor to swap.... and i would say a 2800 stall would work great to get u were u need to be with out having a cam......and a stock tranny would be just fine for the thing that u have mentioned
