We have one of the original Street Series 3400/2.2 STR and it has been a great torque converter.

Although it is being replaced with a 9.5" HD 4000 stall soon.

I ran a Fuddle Street Series 4400 w/ 2.2 str. Stock internal car, bolt ons only, daily driver, 2.73 gears, stock weight but....I was in the 12s and took off like a bat outta hell =) 3500-3800 should make you happen enough.
