Default A4 lt1 into A4 LS1

I have a built transmission in my non running lt1 just sitting in my driveway. What would it take to swap that lt1 tranny into my 99 ls1? If at all possible or worth it...

It's possible. It will bolt up, but you need the spacer for the convertor snout and a way to connect a TV cable if it's that old of a tranny. The easiest way would be to sell it and use that money for an LS1 A4.

Well, one problem you are going to run into is that the LT1 unit is not equipped with PWM circuitry and the LS1 is.

The converters are different, the connector pin outs are different and some do not have the correct tailhousing.

Why don't you give me a call and let's see what we sort of a deal we might be able to work out... you never know.

To give you real answers would need to know the year of the LT1 then we could figure out what it would take to make it work and wether its worth it,
95 up does have PWM,

Well I done it with the help from performance built ! But the problems We ran into was first the cross member dident fit, On the driver side had to drill holes in the frame to make it fit. useing the lt1 cross member. The ls1 cross member didnto fit at all the bolt holes where way off. Second the speedo plug is way differnt you have to splice the wires from the lt1 harness to the ls1 harness. Then the TQ conveter We used the lt1 converter that required alittle spacing. I have to ask the guy at the shop what it was again, I belive it was 5/16th. Oh and as far as the pulse module I belive 95 and up have them. Oh and lastly we rewired the entire transmission using the ls1 wire harness. Everything match up just fine. The transmission work great but now its slipping thats another thread.

Yea see it's out of a 94 so it's not equiped with the same options I take it. I have it listed locally but this area and it not being summer yet really doesn't help my chances of selling it. There are very few modded lt1's running around here in Boise, ID.
