Default Planning on going to the track this weekend with my performabuilt 4l80e

Well after my local built 4l60e wouldnt make the 2-3 shift on a 150 shot (130rw) shifted fine on a 125 (90rw shot) I decided to sell that 4l60e and go with a 4l80e because if I plan on racing the car alot and making more power in the future I figured I would just spend the money and get something extra durable or well hopefully. So this weekend I plan on driving the car to the track and running it if everything goes right. I really hope this 4l80e makes the 2-3 shift on the spray as its a totally different animal internally or so I have heard. I went with a smaller stall for the spray. The car is alittle heavier with the 4l80e and subframe connectors. I also hope the 4l80e 2.48 1st gear doesnt hurt me some people said it works better because its not as big of rpm difference between 1st and 2nd as where the 4l60e drops quite a bit. We'll see how it goes im hoping the trans shifts and the rear holds together then I can jet it up another day and see how it does. Ill let you all know how it goes...

The stock one is perfectly working.... The built one had a problem on the 2-3 shift which I told the buyer and it worked fine for him. I do appreciate your concern however for an item that I was selling. Were you planning on buying it?

Yea it all depends on how the track hooks I would be happy with 1.5s tho.

Im thinking the 4l80e weighs about 75-100 more lbs. I also added some subframes and I think they weigh around 150. Basically im just hoping for a decent run 1st time out this yr im hoping the car still goes straight and smooth and im hoping the trans shifts and the 10 bolt dont break.
