I have a 1993 z28.... ive have been told i have 4l60 regular and someone told me 700r4... will parts interchange between them? I thought they were virtually the same trans? anyways. I am wanting to put in a full manual vb and converter...

Yes the parts will interchange its still a 700r4 with some minor changes made.

The 93 units do use a different style cause connector than the earlier years. You have a 5 pin round connector. Keep that in mind when you go to replace your unit. Make sure that this is an exact match or have your unit built. This is use for inputs for the computer and also the lock up operation. Hope this helps. Vince
