Default Good SFI Flexplate

Have my motor apart & looking for a good SFI flexplate for my 4L60E. Looking at buying something ASAP, heard some bad stuff about the TCI, can anyone help out?

I have seen quite a few good things about the TCI unit, only down side is you gotta grind the coating off which is minor

Is this on all TCI flexplates? I wasnt aware of any grinding needed. I am installing a TCI plate on my M6 to th400 conversion.

Just grind the coating off around the bolt holes

i got my TCI flexplate. I grided around all the bolt holes to help the bolts hold to it. i guess some guys had problems with either their flywheel bolts cmoing loose or converter bolts coming loose due to the paint. so eith sand the paint off around the bolt holes or lightly grid it. Takes 5 mins of your time. I like mine. hasnt cracked or anyhitng. still looks like new just put my new tranny up yesterdayand the flex plate is still looking new
