Default Shift Solenoids

Can anyone tell me where all the shift soleniods & performance are located in or on the tranny.

towards the back ofthe tranny remove the pan

the 1-2 and 2-3 solenoids are on the rear (tail shaft side ) of the valve body. Pan has to come off to access them

Here is a little something I put together for you. Vince

1= a solenoid or 1-2 solenoid
2= b solenoid or 2-3 solenoid
3= pwm tcc solenoid
4= 3-2 control solenoid
5= epc/pcs solenoid
6= pressure manifold switch

if you are throwing codes (PO757) related to the solenoids it could be a programming issue which will need to be deleted.

With most converters with a 3200 stall or greater. I recommend deleting the test in the tune for a PO751 and also the PO757.

i have the TCI 3200 stall.... Its been in for about a year .I did not get any codes until this month.

can someone please tell me how to change the Shift Solenoids

ima change both of them tomorrow. im tired of this problem, and had the codes deleted. im also not gunna have enough money to refill the tranny with redline. what is the lil cheaper stuff that you guys recomend?

after i got my car cammed and stalled i drove home and pulled up to the driveway and had those codes come up. man, it was a PITA to drive with those codes. thanks to vince who told me it just needs to be deleted. got the codes deleted and the car now drives perfect.
