Is there any aftermarket shifter that would be a good addition to my full manual 4L80e? The stock one just doesn't cut it; it is a pain in the *** to have 'just the right touch' to get it into second everytime. I know some can be put in with modification, but is there any bolt in solution?

It will take a little bit of work... but a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter is a good choice. It will work with the existing console with a few mods. It will retain the P/N Switch and has an addition switch for the Reverse lamp circuit.
