i have a 700r4 that i want to get rebuilt. the motor im building will have around 375-430 hp. i checked out A1 in Madison but they were asking $1600, which seemed too much to me. does anyone know of a good tranny place in Wisconsin? I live in Racine, but im willing to do a little traveling. Thanks a lot for any help!

Can you get to Dave's Trans in Round Lake, Illinois. Maybe half an hour or so drive from you. He built my trans.

I ran my stock tranny all the way to 486 RWHP and 487 RWTQ with a supercharger hit.

But, I left torque management engaged.
