Default Circle D - New Multi Disk

Here are some pictures of my new multi disk. It is a 3 disk clutch pack, 100 square inches for WOT Lock-Up capability. Billet front and piston of course. They will weigh 32.5lbs.

The shiny billet front, the splines grab the outside clutch teeth

This is the clutch pack installed in the front

The clutch pack separated

Clutch side of the apply piston, the castle teeth grab the inside clutches

The other side of the apply piston, reinforcement spokes for strength.

More pics if interested. LS1Tech Price $850
I will also be making a 4L80 version as well.

I'm looking forward to bolting mine in tomorrow when it arrives!!!

That converter, plus my Level 3 transmission from Performabuilt that's going in at the same time, are going to get a workout on my turbo Camaro this weekend.

I've driven by your shop numerous times (like tonight) when 290 is
plugged up. I work downtown and live out just past 1960/290. Had I
known, all this time, that you're right down the street, I would have
stopped in - I'll probably drop in anyway, just to say howdy and to
take a lot around at the shop.

That multi-disk looks pretty awesome!

Thanks guys, appreciate all the comments. I have had these in my head for over a year now, finally got the machinery and tools to produce them, now I just need somebody to try and break it, lol.

Keep us informed, curious how the lock up will help in the road course.

Slight delay though, DHL delivered it to Dell Computer in another city. So DHL has to wait for Dell to find it and release it back to them... Monday at the earliest.

Those look awesome. I'll be getting a 4l80e converter from you guys once my 60e in my 93 explodes. I've got to finish it first though. Are the 80e converters the same price as the 60e versions?

That sucks, I noticed it was delivered on Friday and assumed you had it. That is the 3rd problem I have had with DHL in the last month. I apologize, they are a necessary evil.

Vince,

I have had bad experiences with all of them, but 95+% they are on time. Can't complain to much, imagine how many package go through their hands every day. And thanks for the nice comment.

Is that a lockup for a T-400?
