What fluid and filter for a 4l60e I am going to change the fluid ans filter on my 4l60e in my 99 trans am and was wondering what is a good fluid to use and what part# on a filter

use plain old DEX3 for fluid. Filter depends on if you have a deep or shallow pan. If you take the pan off and the filter has a silver bottom its shallow...all black plastic about 3/4 thick is the deep one. Both can be bought on ebay or
