need a new 4l60e what will work? ok i grenaded my stock trans in my 98' z28 a couple days ago. tryin to find to most economical way to get it replaced. will the 4l60e out of an lt1 car or maybe one out of a v6 bolt up to my ls1? i know its a very common trans that came in many cars and trucks. what will work for me? your help is greatly appreciated. thanks, mike.

BerZ28, PLEASE don't go cheap! The trans in your car is calibrated and designed for your car. A V-6 or another unit may lack what is needed for your F-Body. Call one of these sponsors for great advice and a great unit that will live with a little playing around.
