Default Big power TH-400 builders inside

What parts would you guys use in a TH-400 for say 1,200hp???

Thinking about upgrading to better gearing in it also

Definitely get a good input drum that uses a billet shaft. I would also recommend using a sprag style int clutch maybe even a super sprag drum. A billet main shaft would be a good idea as well. As far as a gear set a 210 is the most popular. With that kind of hp make sure to get a reinforced bell like a TW bell. Vince

Could I run a factory bell with a ful sheild or should I have both?

You can run a SFI shield. The bell is just much stronger. I have one I am doing for a guy using a th350 right now. He usually brakes a case once a year doing wheelie's. The after market bell is much thicker and will fix this problem.

I have been to JW down here where I live only about 45 minutes from me took a tour of thier shop was really impressed they make the Ultra bell right there on site beefy piece also they are making some other stuff that I had the priveledge to see but took an oath not to talk about will be out soon But as vince said get the bell you wont regret it

The JW Ultrabell is thick as HELL. I think it could handle a small bomb blast.
