I had the SS4000 with my TR230 and 3.23's and it was surprisingly tight. I then swapped in my PT4400 and it's definitely looser, but once again, it's very streetable. Gears would be a nice addition to your setup, but you'd probably be okay for awhile. It'll make for one heck of a highway car!

i had 273 gears with heads, cam & pt4000 & the crystal ball says you will be putting in 373 in the future lol.

its the next step & will wake the car up........

change the gears & be ready for more traction issues......

oh then you gotta get a good tire.............

& then you might need a new rear end........

it drove ok if you like top end runs................

i personally want to get out of the whole as fast as possible to keep the 60' time down, thats why you bought a stahl to begin with & the 373 will just help...........

373 is logical & i see some guys go 410 in an auto car but they are running 28" tall tires..............

i had 456 in my m6 & loved them...........

its gonna be what do you want out of the car? gas prices suck right now so maybe go 342 if you are not sure about 373?

It will drive fine, but it will be alittle on the loose side. I have ss4000 and 3.23s and its ok for now, until I can afford a 12bolt or 9 inch. If I were you dont screw with the stock rear, you'll be throwing money away. Start the "new rearend fund" NOW!
