Default 6l80 conversion

i here that the 4l60 is faster than a t56, would a 6l80 be faster than both then?(i keep hearing that bout the 4l60 and t56, don't know if it's true)

is anyone doing conversions for an LS1 f-body yet?

how much would it cost to have this conversion done?

last thread i saw about this topic was 2 months old, so i thought i would bring the topic back up

thanx

There's a thread on here where a guy is putting one in a 68 Camaro and he's getting some help from Speartech with the electronics. Other than that I have not seen one going into an fdody.

The 6L80 is a beast, I kinda doubt it would fit in the 4th gen F-Body without a serious modification.

I would run a 4L80-E with the custom 1st and 2nd gear gearing if you need strength, an auto and proper gearing.
