Question Will Older 4L60E bolt up to LQ4

Just like the title says. I have 4L60E out of a 95 impala SS, and i need to know if it will bolt up to a 01 LQ4. And if it does, what will I need to get it to work.

I'm going to be sending the trans out to be rebuilt, but want to make sure it will work.

Thanks,
Nick

Sorry I missed this, I'm sure by now you have an answer.

No, 95's are far different than 97' up.

just have a question i read somewhere where John B was discussing something aboout a 2004r behind a ls1(on ls1tech).com, now if you can use a 200 why not a 700r4 or 4l60? One reason i'm asking is i am hoping to use a 1994 4l60 behind my 2000 ls1 vette engine

i have a 93 4l60e behind a 2000 5.3 was told by the people who made my harness and computer it would work every thing works but the converter lock up found out this week there is a tcc solenoid valve thats not in the 93 trans that 2000 computer is looking for information from so its not locking the converter should find out tommoro if this can be fixed in programing so my advise is to try and stay with same year tran and engine to be on the safe side
