Default help asap? th350 swap

ok i am doing a th350 and a different shifter. my question is what the hell is the cable on the steering column can i take it off? is it just like a shift interlock. let me know asap. thanks alot

Yea, I did a A4 to M6 swap and that cable is still under my carpet. Just disconnect it at the shifter and leave it there.

Same here..just completed this conversion last week. Left all that in the car...never know might want to put it back to stock someday

What shifter are you using? I went with the B&M Pro Ratchet...really happy with it. Was able to make it fit with the stock A4 console...turned out real nice.

i have a th400 rmvb an have the stock shifter, love it.

makes it stealthy

i went with the cheeta shifter and this car will never go back to stock
