The fun just never ends...
Well, my trans is giving me more trouble i think, the lock up only holds when it feels like it, randomly, and at wot it bounces the rev limiter twice on the 2-3 shift. I dont know what the lock up pressure is set at, that may be the culprit in that area, the 2-3 shift im wondering if it has anything to do with using the dexron 6 fluid plus a quart of lucas. i heard that stuff is a little slicker then dexron 3 but i dont know.

I put dexron 6 in my 96 S10 when it came out 2 yrs ago, got about 6 qt's in it and I thought the tranny had **** the bed on me, slipped terribly. from a dead stop and shifting. I talked to a guy who owns a trans shop and he told me even tho they say it's ok, he doesn't recommend running it in older tranny's, especially with high mileage.
I'd say thats a start, he flushed my tranny and it was fine after.

Randomly locking is often misfire related (real or false misfires).
The 2-3 can just be a little slowness or pressure variation that
makes the trans slow down. Adaptive learning sucks and must
go away, then you can set it up and know it'll stay put.
